Property of All Muslims

Rasul Allah (ﷺ) said: “The people are partners in three things: water, pastures and fire.”

[Abu Dawud]

This hadith lists water and energy resources as the communal property of all Muslims. They may be run by the state, but are owned by the Muslim Ummah and cannot be the property of any individual, family, corporation or government. How enormous are the economic problems that are strangling the Muslim nation today, because of this one single rule of Allah's Shariah not being applied!
